The Opole Science and Technology Park is a limited liability company formed in 2001, originally known as the Opole Technology Park. OSTP’s mission is to create an innovative environment increasing the competitiveness and growth of the region’s economy to be based on knowledge and new technologies and to be capable of permanent and sustained development.

OSTP carried out numerous targeted projects for the Polish Federation of Engineering Associations (NOT) consisting in the preparation of studies and implementation of new technologies for SMEs within the framework of regular competitions announced by NOT. The Park was also directly involved in the RITTS INBO project, which resulted in the preparation of the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Opolskie Voivodeship for 2004-2013 and the strategy’s Action Plan for 2004-2006.
